How to Achieve Optimal Postural Alignment and Strategies to Improve Postural Habits

Contributors.  In today's digital world, smartphones are used for just about everything. It's common to spend hours on social media, texting and/or watching videos on your phone, computer or tablet. On average, Americans spend nearly six hours a day on digital media.


 Too much screen time affects your health in many ways. A common faulty posture is developing a "tech neck" or "text neck." This is referred to as an FHP or forward head posture. Forward head posturing is described as having a round back, forward facing shoulders and a slouched posture.  This posturing have become a growing concern among teenagers,  students, seniors and people who perform sedentary, sitting work tasks.
